Coronavirus Update

Thank you for all of your thoughtful calls, emails, cards and messages over these last few months. Your support and kindness mean the world to us, now more than ever. We are so grateful for The Upper Class family.

Exactly one month ago, we announced full refunds for all trips cancelled as a result of the coronavirus. Thank you for your patience as we worked through the processing of so many refunds. This was an enormous undertaking.
 
We are so happy to announce that we have completed the processing of all refunds. If you have yet to receive your refund, please check your next statement as it should appear very soon.
 
Providing refunds related to coronavirus cancellations is not the standard in the industry. In fact, many travel and tour companies are not providing refunds.
 
We hope by providing these refunds, we are showing just how important you are to us. When we say you are part of our family, we truly mean it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MORE GOOD NEWS
Thankfully, our area is beginning to see positive news surrounding this pandemic. Numbers continue to improve and our region is entering Phase 1 of the reopening. These are encouraging signs that bring a well-earned sigh of relief for our community!
 
However, much uncertainty remains. Authorities continue to require social distancing and masks, while prohibiting gatherings of more than 10 people. For people 65 and over, further precautions are suggested, including continued observance of the stay-at-home order.
 
 
SCHEDULE UPDATE - SUMMER TRIPS CANCELLED
The safety of you, our guests, and our staff is our first priority. While there is much improvement in the coronavirus situation, much remains unclear.
 
In the face of this ongoing uncertainty, we believe that conducting tours this summer cannot be done in a way that ensures your health and safety. We have decided to cancel all trips for July and August. Customers holding bookings for July and August trips will receive a full refund.
 
OUR PROMISE
We are so sorry that we are not able to fulfill the trips we planned for you these last few months. Our promise of a trip always goes hand in hand with the promise of doing our utmost to protect your safety and security.
 
Please know the decision to cancel these trips, while heartbreaking for us, is made out of concern, respect and love for our Upper Class family.
 
Despite these difficulties, we are already planning more trips we know you'll love. We will continue to bring you virtual tours and online events through email, the Beyond The Bus section of our website and on Facebook.
 
We hope you'll join us and stay connected. Give us a call, send us an email, drop us a line just to say hello. We miss you!
 
 
If you are scheduled to travel with us after August 31, 2020:
  • For now, all trips after August 31 will depart as scheduled.
  • We will continue to monitor – and follow – directives from government and health authorities.
  • If a trip taking place after August 31 is cancelled due to the coronavirus crisis, customers will be notified and will receive a refund.
