and Winter Weather Protection

Don’t worry - you’re covered!

The Upper Class understands that circumstances may arise out of your control which could result in you being forced to cancel your trip.  In the event of medical emergency, illness or Winter Weather, we have an protection option for you!  We strongly advise you to protect your travel plans with these great options.  Please see below for more details.

If a guest is unable to travel due to illness or other health issues, The Upper Class Travel Protection program provides a refund for the cost of any trip, minus the price of the Travel Protection.  The refund will be made upon receipt of a doctor’s note. The note must state that, based on an office visit, the guest was not able to travel on the date of the trip. The note must be signed by the doctor and dated on or before the trip’s departure date.  Travel Protection is available for purchase within seven days of making your reservation. Travel Protection claims must be received within 14 days after the departure date of the tour. Travel Protection is available for cancellations due to medical reasons only.

The Upper Class understands winter weather may throw a wrench in even the best-laid travel plans.  We don’t want any of our guests to feel uncomfortable when traveling to our departure locations due to inclement winter weather.  For your peace of mind, we are happy to offer you an option to protect your vacation with our Winter Weather Protection.  The Winter Weather Protection allows our guests to cancel a tour for a full credit toward future travel if snowfall of more than 2” inches occurs within 12 hours prior to your tour’s departure.  Snowfall is measured by the National Weather Service officially published snowfall for White Plains, NY.  The Winter Weather Protection is available on tours during the months of December through March and is designated by the Winter Weather Protection icon on each individual trip.  Winter Weather Protection for an additional $15 on trips under $100, or 15% of the trip price on trips of $100 or more and must be purchased within seven days of making your reservation, but not less than 30 days or more prior to travel.

Once purchased, Protection programs are non-refundable and non-transferable. The fees paid do not cover any changes in tour prices which arise from an individual’s traveling companion electing to cancel prior to departure. In this case, the price difference will be deducted from the refund of the person who cancels. Division of these charges between the passengers involved is solely their responsibility.
