Upon checking into the Fairfield Inn Great Barrington, unpack and unwind before a welcome dinner held at the Cork-n-Hearth Restaurant. Tonight, be swept away by the annual tradition, Tanglewood on Parade! Taking place only once a year, The Boston Pops, Boston Symphony Orchestra and Tanglewood Orchestra all come together on one stage, for a single, extended concert! The traditional Tanglewood on Parade finale will take your breath away as Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture booms throughout the venue set to spectacular fireworks. See it again or for the first time!
Day 2: Stockbridge, MA (B, L)
After breakfast and a leisurely morning, get ready for a step back in time at The Mount, designed by Edith Wharton in 1902. On a guided tour, discover a Palladian-style English country estate featuring classical European influences, stables, a greenhouse, walled gardens and more! Tuck into a buffet lunch overlooking The Mount’s blooming gardens before heading to the historic mountain village of Stockbridge. You’ll have time to explore Stockbridge for shopping on her picture-perfect Main Street, right out of the famous Norman Rockwell painting.
