Head to the country to refresh the spirit with two musicals! This brand-new itinerary features a vintage train ride, Amish family farm and a world-premiere!

Day 1: Shady Maple and Dutch Apple (L, D)
Arrive in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania just in time for lunch at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord! Eat to your heart’s content, enjoying Amish favorites made from scratch. Get ready to go back for seconds…and thirds! This afternoon, Amish culture comes alive, interactive, and personal like never before as you visit with the Lapp family for an exclusive tour of their private Old Windmill Farm. Explore this genuine, century-old, family farm and learn about Amish life. Tonight, take in your first of two shows, beginning with the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater presentation of the iconic Guys and Dolls, a musical comedy about rolling the dice and falling in love! Follow the escapades of gambler Nathan Detroit and his fiancé of 14 years as they wind through the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana and even the sewers of New York City. It’s a big musical with a bigger heart, and eventually everyone ends up right where they belong! Sing along to this highly recognizable score that features A Bushel and a Peck, Luck Be A Lady Tonight and of course, Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat!

Spend the night at the beautiful Fulton Steamboat Inn, featuring nautical and Victorian guest rooms in a unique setting that evokes a vintage riverboat.

Day 2: Iron Horse & Queen Esther (B, L)
This morning, it’s all aboard the Strasburg Rail Road, America’s oldest operating railroad with a charter dating back to 1832! Strasburg features authentic steam locomotives providing a vintage ride aboard a beautifully restored, wooden passenger car pulled by a 100-year-old steam engine. What better way than to steam through the preserved farmlands and rolling hills that create the picturesque, Amish countryside? Next, we’ll visit Hershey Farm for a bountiful, family-style lunch. Savor a variety of hearty food, including their famous fried chicken and shoo-fly pie!

This afternoon, it’s the grand finale of your country get away as you experience the world-premiere of Queen Esther! The newest production presented at the Sight & Sound Theater, see the Bible brought to life in a grand production featuring
moving sets, live animals, state of the art special effects and larger than life action. Set in the opulent Persian Empire, Queen Esther is a captivating tale of beauty and bravery. Follow Esther through the palace doors, changing her ordinary life
forever. With a crown on her head and a secret in her heart, can she find the courage to trust in God’s plan? Experience one of the most riveting Bible stories of the Old Testament, in this brand-new, original stage production!
