Enjoy the best of summer on Long Island’s North Fork with a day in Greenport! A quaint waterfront village, Greenport is one of the very last towns on the North Fork. In the heart of downtown, begin with lunch at the Front Street Station Restaurant. Next, it’s all aboard for a narrated cruise on the waters between the North and South Forks. We’ll pass Shelter Island on the way to the “Bug” Lighthouse, where the Peconic River meets Gardiners Bay. The “Bug” is one of the rare offshore lighthouses that allow visitors. We’ll disembark so you can explore the lighthouse! Back on land, stroll Greenport’s waterfront, featuring boutiques and water views. Don’t miss the Seaport Museum and The Fire Fighter, a floating museum dedicated to Maritime’s bravest!
