Travel deep into the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains, spending three nights at the waterfront Lake Morey Resort. Experience fall in New England featuring the Friesians of Majesty, Lake Champlain, Killington Mountain, the Vermont Country Store and more! With an evening bonfire and the most photographed covered bridge in the USA, join us for this cozy and colorful fall getaway!

Day 1 - Hello Your Majesty (D)
Begin your colorful Vermont escape with a once-in-a-lifetime experience to witness the Friesians of Majesty! Rare, thoroughbred horses, the Friesians are a special breed with long, feathery manes and tails that often touch the ground.
During our visit to a champion facility, be amazed by a performance that exhibits these majestic creatures and their expert handlers. All black with elegant, powerful movements, they are truly Black Beauties!

After the Friesians, arrive at our home for the trip, the waterfront Lake Morey Resort, featuring a private beach, formal gardens, game room and more! Tonight, enjoy dinner in the Morey’s Lakeside dining room.

Day 2 - Rock Of Ages (B, D)
You’ll start the day between a rock and a hard place during a guided tour of the Rock of Ages Smith Quarry, the largest quarry of its kind in the world. With your quarrier guide, learn about the operation and visit the observation platform for incredible vistas of this 600-foot deep quarry!

After the guided tour, visit the 160,000 square foot plant. See artisans using hand tools in much the same way as Michelangelo did centuries ago, combined with computer-guided, diamond-tipped saws and precise grinders.

Next, take a guided tour of the 160-year-old Vermont State House and see why it is considered to be one of the best preserved state capitols in the nation!

Tonight, see the sun set and the moon rise during a twilight cruise on Lake
Champlain, aboard Vermont’s largest cruise ship. Savor a hearty, seasonal buffet featuring fall favorites in the ship’s dining room.

Day 3 - Gondola to The Sky (B,L)
Greet the morning from the top of Killington, the second highest peak in Vermont’s Green Mountain Range. Make the summit aboard the K-1 Gondola, with breathtaking, autumn panoramas as far as the eye can see! On the mountain’s crest, visit the Peak Lodge Mountain Restaurant for a high-flying
dining experience 4,241 feet in the sky.

From the top of the mountain, we’ll head to the valley, visiting Billings Farm and Museum, the gateway to Vermont’s rural past. Meet a farm ambassador, take a wagon tour and explore the restored Farm House from 1890.

Tonight celebrate with a farewell bonfire at the Lake Morey Resort. Gather around the flames to toast marshmallows with old friends and new!

Day 4 - Country Roads Take Me Home (B, L)
On a guided driving tour, experience the beauty, allure and charm of Southern
Vermont, painted with the colors of fall. Highlights will include the Sugar Shack, famous for its signature maple syrup and a visit to the most photographed covered bridge in the USA.

Take a step back to a simpler time at the famous Vermont Country Store and for more shopping, explore the village of Manchester! Each offer a last bit of quintessential New England charm before heading home.
