The Explorers Club serves as a unifying force for explorers and scientists worldwide, preserving the instinct to explore. Celebrate those who go where others wouldn’t dare, with rare access to this prestigious, members-only club! Founded in 1904, The Club’s members have been responsible for an illustrious series of famous firsts, including first to the North Pole, the summit of Mount Everest, the deepest point in the ocean, the surface of the moon and more.

In a rare opportunity, go inside this famous New York City landmark! On a guided tour, witness The Club’s collection of artifacts and walk in the steps of its most celebrated members including Neil Armstrong, Teddy Roosevelt, Charles Lindbergh, Thor Heyerdahl, Chuck Yeager and more.

After working up an appetite at The Club, enjoy a four-course, family-style lunch at Tony’s Di Napoli. This afternoon, continue in the spirit of the explorers with a self-led scavenger hunt at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Wander the museum on your own or with friends as the hunt takes you from Egyptian times in the Temple of Dendur to the Golden Age of The Greeks all the way to the paintings of the famous European impressionists.
