Stone House Restaurant

Perched on its own private island, the stately Stone House is flanked by two charming gazebos, overlooking a lake and reached only by a stone bridge. Together with an old-fashioned slate roof, soaring ceilings, timber beams and panoramic views, the beautiful setting feels far, far away, but is really in Staten Island! Join us for lunch at this acclaimed restaurant, tucked away in the center of Clove Lake, featuring a rustic chic ambiance and a seasonally inspired menu. After lunch, explore Staten Island’s hidden gems on a guided tour of Sailors Snug Harbor, featuring six of New York City’s first landmarks, one of the finest collections of Greek Revival architecture and the New York Chinese Scholar Garden.

This tour requires some walking. Each stop during the Staten Island tour will include 10-15 minutes of walking with some benches and rock ledges to sit upon at different parts of the 90-minute tour.
