Start your morning at the National Botanic Gardens, an indoor holiday, winter wonderland. Known for its extensive poinsettia exhibit, miniature holiday train and one of the largest decorated trees in the city!

Next, experience DC’s legendary Holiday Market featuring seasonal entertainment and festive food, with plenty of time for lunch and shopping on your own.
Old Town Alexandra Guided Tour and Dinner at Union Street Public House
This afternoon, take a guided tour of Old Town Alexandria decked for the holidays. You’ll even see where Robert E. Lee and George Washington attended holiday services hundreds of years ago. Enjoy dinner at the Union Street Public House, a waterfront restaurant with a distinctively DC ambiance!
Mt. Vernon by Candlelight
Tonight, it’s a magical candlelight tour of Mt. Vernon, George Washington’s home. With character-guided tours, 18th century dancing and fireside caroling, celebrate a Founding Father’s Christmas!
Day 3: Hark the Herald! (B)
Feel the true meaning of Christmas during Mass at the National Cathedral. Be moved by the Holy Communion and a small choir performance. Your DC Holiday finishes with shoping in Georgetown, known for its canopy of twinkling lights. Make your list, check it twice before heading home for the holidays!
