Experience why Chicago is known as both the The Windy City and The Magnificent Second City. Spend three nights at your hotel located on the Magnificent Mile. The wind won’t sweep you away, but the city’s many highlights will. You’ll even venture from the city to one of the country’s most beloved landmarks, The University of Notre Dame!

Day 1: Westward Bound (D)
Westward bound, journey through four states on the way to our first stop in Ohio. Celebrate the start of your trip with a welcome reception and drink on us! Tonight, enjoy dinner at Red Gables Mesquite
Grill. Get a good night’s sleep at the Country Inn and Suites before continuing west tomorrow.

Day 2: Hold Onto Your Hat (B, D)
Hold onto your hat as we arrive in the Windy City and begin with the best views on a narrated cruise along the Chicago River. An expert from the Chicago Architecture Foundation will describe the world class architecture along the river that runs through the center of the city. Dinner at Weber Grill – a Chicago classic!

Day 3: Look Out Windy City! (B, L)
See the city from top to bottom on a guided tour! Enjoy the Magnificent Mile, Buckhingham Fountain, Millennium Park, and much more as you hear Chicago’s legends and storied history. Take a break at Lawry’s The Prime Rib, an extraordinary restaurant located in downtown and housed in the 1890’s McCormick Mansion. This afternoon marvel at the view from the top of the John Hancock Tower.

Day 4: Optional Day – Holland Tulip Festival (B, Optional L)
Today is yours to explore the city on your own including Navy Pier, The Art Institute, Millennium Park and more. With so many choices, ask your tour director who can help you plan your best day. Or, choose an option adventure to Holland, MI for the Annual Tulip Festival. Celebrate the rich Dutch heritage and culture of Holland, located on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. With Dutch flavored entertainment and some of the largest parades in Michigan, the festival is world-class fun! Stroll Windmill Island Gardens and see the Tulip Parade from your premium seats! Join local chefs for an expert, three course, cooking demonstration. After each demonstration, you’ll savor their creations, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “working lunch!” Just $89 per person includes Premium Parade Seats and Lunch!

Day 5: Notre Dame (B, D)
Feel the spirit at The University of Notre Dame, one of the country’s most beloved institutions. See the school’s famous Grotto, Basilica, the Golden Dome and more. After the guided tour, explore on your own with time for lunch. Stop for relaxing night and a farewell dinner in Ohio.

Day 6: Homeward Bound (B)
After breakfast, we’ll head home. Use the time to connect with new friends. Chat, share pictures and plan for your next trip!
