July begs for a visit to the coast, and where better than Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard? It’s a New England vacation featuring fresh ocean air, salty breeze, local seafood, sparkling oceans and more!

Day 1: Ocean Drive (D)

First stop, Newport! Get to know this historic, ocean-side town that has been a vacation destination since the Gilded Age. On a guided tour, get insights from your local guide that stretch from the 1800’s to today.

Travel across the bay to Hyannis, known as the capital of Cape Cod. Spend the next four nights in the comfort of the Holiday Inn, centrally located between both coasts. Celebrate with your fellow guests during a lobster dinner at Alberto’s.

Day 2: Martha’s Vineyard (B, L)

This morning we ferry to Martha’s Vineyard! Join your local expert for a "Down Island" tour, passing through picturesque villages and learning about the lifestyle of the year-rounders.

Tuck into a maritime lunch at the Seafood Shanty, an Edgartown favorite, then wander the historic whaling town. In Oak Bluffs, the rest of the day is yours to stroll through Cottage City, famous for brightly painted cottages with decorative gingerbread trim. Enjoy dinner on your own, finishing with the ferry back to the mainland.

Day 3: Hello Hyannis (B)

Learn the local legends, history and summer flavor of Hyannis from your expert guide. This afternoon, see Hyannis from a whole different perspective as you cruise the protected waters of Hyannis Harbor, surrounded by beaches, beacons, belfries and lighthouses.

Day 4: Provincetown (B, D)

Choose Land or Sea!

Go to the tip of the Cape and explore everything in between! On a guided tour, travel Old King’s Highway, a scenic byway known for its maritime history, the Eastham Windmill, Cape Cod Lighthouse, sprawling dunes and ocean views.
Follow the road to Provincetown, the bustling seaside resort town. After time for lunch and shopping, choose an ocean adventure or an exciting land excursion.

After today’s amazing highlights, gather with your fellow travelers during a farewell lobster dinner at the historic Whitman House, a Cape Cod landmark.

Day 5: Sparkling Sandwich (B)

Your final morning is marked by a live glass blowing demonstration at the Sandwich Glass Museum as molten glass is blown into exquisite shapes. Your final souvenirs await, as you explore Sandwich, the oldest town on Cape Cod, with an up close view of the Cape Cod Canal.
