Television and history come to life at Winterthur, the home of Henry Francis du Pont, located in Pennsylvania’s beautiful Brandywine Valley. In a very special exhibit, the famous Winterthur Galleries present The Costumes of The Crown. This new exhibit celebrates the style, design and costumes of the award-winning television series that tells the dramatized history of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Captivating millions of viewers on both sides of the pond, The Crown is winning ratings as well as a bevy of awards.

Explore the elegance of a by-gone era from the dazzling gold of the queen’s coronation robe, Princess Margaret’s wedding dress, royal crowns, tiaras and more.
Enjoy a guided tour of the 175-room former home of Mr. du Pont and a tram tour of the exquisite gardens. Lunch is included at the Winterthur Garden Cafe overlooking the estate’s rolling hills and gardens.
