Kutztown Folk Festival

Go Dutch! Kick off summer with good, clean American fun at the Kutztown Folk Festival! One of the longest running festivals of its kind in the country, Kutztown has been featured twice in National Geographic Magazine and has been called “One of the most unique festivals on the east coast,” by the Washington Post! Kutztown is an authentic celebration of the Pennsylvania Dutch and their fascinating way of life, with participation of the local Amish community.

Join an old-fashioned cake walk, take in some square dancing, catch a comedy show, cheer for the authentic hoedown dancers, enjoy the sounds of a strolling Sauerkraut Band and take part in an actual country auction! One of the country’s oldest folk festivals, Kutztown is famous for their horse-powered carousel and the largest quilt sale in America!

Eat your way through the festival (on your own) tasting Pennsylvania Dutch delicacies and festival favorites. Don’t miss the shoo-fly pie! Guten Essen - good eating!
