Day 1 - Saratoga Race Track (D)
Begin your trip in style with an afternoon at the Saratoga Race Track. Famous around the world for its charming setting, soak in the historic ambience from your reserved seating under the Terrace Awning, as you cheer on your favorites toward the finish line. After the excitement of the races, you’ll check into the beautiful Queensbury Hotel, a historic Victorian landmark featuring a soaring grand lobby, endless amenities and heated indoor pool. Your home for two nights, the famous Queensbury is regarded as the centerpiece of the area and a must-see destination in its own right. Celebrate the day with a welcome dinner at the Boardwalk Restaurant overlooking beautiful Lake George.
Day 2 - All Aboard – Vintage Railroad and Saratoga (Meals: B)
All aboard The North Creek Railroad! Famous for its vintage rail cars featuring a domed glass roof offering 180 degree views of the mountains as the Railroad winds along the scenic Hudson River. Enjoy time on your own for lunch and to discover the town of North Creek’s quaint antique shops, country stores, B&B’s and restaurants. Then, we’re off to the Town of Saratoga for more time to explore and choose your favorite spot for dinner on your own.
Day 3 - A Day on the Lake and America’s Favorite Past Time (B)
Spend a day on the water and along the shores of Otsego Lake. Aboard the Glimmerglass Queen, enjoy a narrated cruise featuring all of the lakeside gems including Kingfisher Tower, Three Mile Point and more! From the water, it’s just a few steps to explore the picturesque village of Cooperstown for lunch and shopping on your own. As you explore the village, don’t miss it’s most famous site – the Baseball Hall of Fame. The afternoon is yours to spend as you like – in the village, at the shops, overlooking the water and the historic cathedral dedicated to America’s favorite past time!
