Hailed as a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition, the Metropolitan Museum of Art will unveil the largest showcase of Michelangelo works in the museum’s history. Spanning his lifetime, the vast collection will feature 150 of the Renaissance master’s works.
Many of these pieces have never before been shown in public, including pieces on loan from private collections or from vaults designed to protect the fragile and priceless art.

A unique combination of high profile pieces and early works, the collection will include:

- Torment of Saint Anthony - his earliest painting
- The Young Archer - a mysterious sculpture
- A drawing for his final fresco at the Vatican
- His carved wood model of a chapel

On an audio tour, experience Michelangelo’s rich legacy as a supreme draftsman and designer. Witness the powerful imagery and dazzling technical virtuosity that imbues his work with a staggering force that continues to enthrall us today.

Before the exhibit, enjoy a lunch at Le Rivage, a customer favorite serving French favorites.
