Day 2: Life Guards & Ponies (B)
Step into the world of life guards at the Life-Saving Museum. Learn about the heroic surfmen – the beach’s bravest! This afternoon, take to the ocean on a cruise to witness the wild ponies as we explore the Assateague Island from the water. You’ll enjoy bird watching, dredging for clams and a hands-on crab and crab pot demonstration. Explore each end of the boardwalk for lunch and dinner on your own, your tour director can help you find the best spots!
Day 3: Ocean City and Berlin (B, T, D)
Today, meet your local guide for a tour of Ocean City and historic Berlin. Learn about the area’s Algonquian history and the highlights that attract thousands of tourists every year. The afternoon is yours! Stroll the beach or boardwalk, hit the town, take a dip in the ocean or relax on your private balcony overlooking the ocean and cap it all off with afternoon tea. It’s all up to you! Dine at your leisure inside the Victorian Dining Room tonight.
Day 4: Wilmington (B, T)
After a relaxed morning, depart Ocean City for Wilmington, just outside of Philadelphia. Afternoon tea at historic Hotel du Pont. Arrive home today with wonderful memories.
