Important Travel Information and Policies

 

The Upper Class Travel Insurance

If a guest is unable to travel due to illness or other health issues, The Upper Class Insurance provides a full refund for the cost of any trip, minus the price of the insurance. The refund will be made upon receipt of a doctor's note. The note must state that, based on an office visit, the guest was not able to travel. The note must be signed by the doctor and dated on or before the trip departure date.

Travel Insurance is available for purchase within seven days of making your reservation. Insurance claims must be received within 14 days after the departure date of the tour. Insurance is available for cancellations due to health or medical reasons only. Once purchased, insurance is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • For trips $99 and less, the insurance is $10 per person

  • For trips $100 and up, the insurance is 10% of the cost of the trip per person

Seating on Motorcoach Travel

To be fair to all guests, The Upper Class assigns seats for motor coach travel in order of payment received. If a certain seat is important to you, or you are traveling with a group of friends, please let us know at the time of your reservation and we will do our best to honor your request.

General Information

  • Prices are per person, per trip and include all round trip transportation, accommodations, meals, entertainment, admissions, tour escorts, guides, taxes and gratuities as per the unique itinerary of each trip, unless otherwise stated.

  • It is the travelers’ responsibility to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to designated departure times. Any guest not arriving in time for departure may be left behind. The Upper Class, LLC assumes no responsibility for guests arriving late at departure points at any location.

  • There is no smoking on any motorcoach.

  • The Upper Class, LLC welcomes persons over 21, except when noted.

  • All return times are tentative.

  • The Upper Class, LLC will try to accommodate seating and room requests from our guests. However, seating assignments on motor coach travel or any other seating or room arrangements will be at the sole discretion of The Upper Class, LLC.

  • The Upper Class, LLC reserves the right to remove any guest who is
    interfering with the enjoyment of others.

  • Any person reserving or purchasing any The Upper Class, LLC product published in this brochure accepts the condition that The Upper Class, LLC reserves the right to change or cancel itineraries, hotels and other tour components at the sole discretion of The Upper Class, LLC. If this occurs, efforts will be made to offer alternative dates or programs.

  • Trips depart in all weather conditions at the sole discretion of The Upper Class, LLC.

Payment

  • One-Day Tours: For one-day tours, full payment is due within seven days of making a reservation. If a guest elects to purchase Travel Insurance, the insurance cost is due within seven days of making a reservation.

  • Multiple-Day Tours: For multiple-day tours, a 20% per person deposit is due within seven days of making a reservation Balance is then due 90 days prior to departure. If a guest elects to purchase Travel Insurance, the insurance cost is due within seven days of making a reservation.

  • Payments may be made by MasterCard, Visa, or by sending a check or money order. All rates are guaranteed upon payment or deposit.

  • Please make personal checks payable to: The Upper Class, LLC

  • Please include the name, address and phone number of each traveler; along with date of trip with your check to ensure reservation

  • All phone reservations are considered tentative and subject to cancellation until payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

  • One-Day Tours: Guests may cancel reservations up to 30 days prior to departure on one-day motor coach tour for a full credit, minus any unrecoverable charges (i.e. Theater tickets). There will be no credit or refund for any cancellation made after this time, unless The Upper Class Travel Insurance has been purchased and the Insurance terms have been complied with. See Travel Insurance section for more information.

  • Multiple-Day Tours: Guests may cancel reservations up to 90 days prior to departure on a multi-day motor coach tour for a full credit, minus any unrecoverable charges (i.e. Theater tickets). There will be no credit or refund for any cancellation made after this time, unless The Upper Class Travel Insurance has been purchased and the Travel Insurance terms have been complied with. See Travel Insurance section for more information.

  • The Upper Class, LLC is not responsible for events cancelled out of our control. Where possible, The Upper Class, LLC will make efforts to secure alternate arrangements at our discretion.

  • If The Upper Class, LLC is provided a rain check for a cancelled event, the rain check will become the property of the traveler and The Upper Class, LLC assumes no responsibility for travel.

  • The Upper Class, LLC reserves the right to cancel a tour for any reason. Full refunds will be given for complete trips cancelled by The Upper Class, LLC.

Baggage Disclaimer

  • Although every effort is made to handle passengers’ luggage as carefully as possible, The Upper Class, LLC is not responsible for and does not assume any liability or accept claims for loss of or damage to luggage due to breakage, theft or wear and tear through hotel and carrier handling.

General Disclaimers

  • Neither The Upper Class, LLC, its affiliated entities and its and their employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, agents, and assigns (collectively “The Upper Class”), own or operate any person or entity which is to or does provide goods or services for these trips. Because neither maintains any control over the personnel, equipment, or operations of these suppliers, The Upper Class, LLC assumes no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, death, property damage or loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of (1) any wrongful, negligent, willful or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any of the suppliers or other employees or agents, (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, or instrument owned, operated or otherwise used by any of these suppliers, or (3) any wrongful, willful or negligent act or omission on the part of any other party not under the direct supervision and control of The Upper Class, LLC.

  • Guests may be photographed for the promotional purposes of The Upper Class, LLC.

  • Payment of any amount to The Upper Class, LLC constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Personal Property Disclaimer

  • The Upper Class, LLC is not responsible for, and does not assume any liability or accept claims for loss of, or damage to automobiles or personal property due to vandalism, breakage, theft, or wear and tear.
