Head south this spring to enjoy four days of international charm and All-American excitement featuring spectacular events each evening that promise to take your breath away!

Day 1: Virginia or Bust (D)
The open road is yours as you traverse the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, “One of the Engineering Wonders of the Modern World,” enroute to Norfolk. Relax at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, located in the heart of Norfolk. Begin your trip with a welcome reception, followed by dinner at Norfolk Seafood Company.

Day 2: Azalea Festival and Lantern Spectatular (B, L)
Start the morning cruising the smooth waters surrounding the Norfolk Naval Station, the home of America’s Atlantic Fleet. Enjoy a three-course lunch at Omar’s Carriage House. After a morning of American muscle, see the city in full bloom and all alight at the famous Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Be intoxicated by the scents and colors of The 78th Annual Azalea Festival. On a narrated tram tour, stop at many of the Garden’s favorite highlights. Be transported to an ancient, fantastical land at LanternAsia, a glowing light and lantern exhibit. Be one of the first to see the vibrant lanterns unveiled for the first time in the US with more than 25 sparkling sculptures – some 3 stories tall! The lanterns are an ancient tradition which began more than 2,000 years ago in China. This highly acclaimed exhibit is making its American debut and only US appearance for just a few weeks! As the sun goes down, witness 25 magical illuminated works of art that embody traditional Chinese folklore and historic structures that will transport you to a far-off, magical land. This is a rare experience not to be missed!

Day 3: Parade of Nations & Military Tattoo (B)
See the world from your reserved seats – the perfect vantage point to witness the Annual Parade of Nations. Watch marching bands, ROTC teams, performers and grand floats. After the parade, the afternoon is yours to explore NATOFest, featuring goods, culture and entertainment from around the world. Tour the Nauticus and board the USS Wisconsin, one of the largest Battleships ever built. Tonight get ready for The Virginia International Tattoo. Dubbed a “spectacle of music and might,” by CBS Sunday Morning, the Tattoo is a modern-day military performance springing from a centuries-old ceremony.
The largest celebration of its kind in the US, the Tattoo brings together more than 850 performers from around the world. See rousing marching bands, stirring bagpipes and an incredible Grand March  ulminating with all of the bands marching together. An event to be remembered!

Day 4: Beach and Boardwalk (B)
After breakfast, head to Rehoboth Beach, to unwind after the excitement of Norfolk. Enjoy the beach and boardwalk with time on your own for lunch and shopping. Find the perfect souvenir before heading
home with new friends and great memories.
