Day One - Ottawa, Ontario   (Meals: D)

  • Narrated cruise along the Rideau Canal as you discover one of the engineering marvels of the
    nineteenth century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site

  • Two nights at Lord Elgin Hotel, one of the Ottawa's finest hotels featuring tulip-inspired
    artwork, luxury furnishings and ideally located in the heart of downtown Ottawa

  • Enjoy the pool with adjoining whirlpool, sauna and fitness center

  • Dinner at Prime 360 Steakhouse

 

 

Days Two - Ottawa   (Meals: B)

  • Tour Parliament Hill, known for its regal architecture, where you'll visit inside the Senate and House of Commons chambers

  • Meet our guide, dressed as a historic character for a tour of Ottawa including magnificent Parliament Hill, the center of Canadian political life and a place of striking architectural beauty. You'll stop and admire the stunning grandeur of the world famous Museum of
    Civilization which also offers a wondrous panorama of the Capital City. See famed Sussex Drive with its museums, churches, embassies, Royal Canadian Mint and the Prime Minister's home.

  • Visit several locations for the best views of the nearly three million tulips throughout Ottawa and learn how the event, which grew from a Dutch gift of friendship, became the world's largest Tulip Festival

  • Visit the International Pavilion and "travel" to over 20 countries as local embassies and cultural groups showcase their wares and origins

 

Day Three - Alexandria Bay, Boldt Castle and the 1,000 Islands  (Meals: B)

  • Cross into the United States, stopping for duty-free shopping, and arrive in scenic Alexandria Bay, NY

  • Take a short ferry ride to Boldt Castle, in the 1,000 Islands Region of the St. Lawrence River. Inside, discover a grandiose 110 year-old, 120 room castle, built by the former Waldorf=Astoria owner.
