Day One - Norfolk, Virginia & Chesapeake Bay Bridge  (Meals: D)

  • Travel over "One of the Engineering Wonders of the Modern World," the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, en route to Norfolk
  • Dine inside Freemason Abbey, a 138 year-old renovated church,
  • Enjoy Harborview rooms at the Sheraton Waterside Hotel, located in downtown Norfolk, just steps from great shops and restaurants

Day Two - Norfolk NATO Festival, Parade of Nations and International Military Tattoo   (Meals: B)

  • Witness the Annual Parade of Nations from your reserved seating along the parade route!

  • Watch bands, Tattoo performers and floats representing all 28 NATO members

  • Explore 28 Countries without a Passport! Food, culture and entertainment are just a few of the attractions in store for you at NATOFest 2012

  • Tour the Nauticus, a museum exploring the sea, then step aboard the USS Wisconsin, one of the largest Battleships ever built

  • The grand finale tonight is the Virginia International Tattoo. Dubbed a "spectacle of music and might," by CBS Sunday Morning, the Tattoo is in the tradition of the Royal Edinburgh Tattoo - a modern-day military celebration springing from a centuries-old ceremony.

  • This is the largest such celebration in the United States, and one of the most spectacular in the world. This year's Tattoo brings more than 850 performers from several countries, as well as proud service men and women from the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines.

 

Day Three - Norfolk    (Meals: B, L)

  • This morning, tour the Norfolk Naval Station with a Seaman stationed at the base and see the Atlantic Naval Fleet

  • Lunch inside a restored carriage house dating back to the 1840's

  • Narrated tram tour of the Norfolk Botanical Gardens to witness over 175 varieties of rhododendrons and azaleas. Watch for one of the nesting American bald eagles!

 

Optional Dinner Cruise - $69 per person
Join us for an unforgettable sunset dinner cruise through Norfolk's Harbor to witness the Navy's Atlantic Fleet

 

Day Four - Mt. Vernon, VA (Meals: B)

  • Tour George Washington's Mt. Vernon home and grounds

  • Bid adieu to your new friends as we arrive home today with wonderful memories and renewed patriotism
