Day One - Washington, DC (Meals: D)

  • Guided tour along Monument Drive with intimate tours of the Vietnam, Korean and Lincoln Memorials, a fascinating look at the presidency of FDR at his memorial and a tribute to America's Greatest Generation - the awe-inspiring WW II Memorial

  • Your home for three nights is the Hilton Garden Inn, in nearby Arlington, Virginia, just steps from the Iwo Jima Memorial

  • Enjoy dinner tonight at Old Ebbitt Grill, Washington oldest and most historic saloon, Old Ebbitt Grill. Founded in 1856, the restaurant is a favorite dining location for Washington's politicians & power brokers.

Day Two - Washington & The U.S. Capitol (Meals: B, D)

  • Guided tour of the Capitol Building - beginning in the brand new Capitol Visitor Center, with its skylight views of the Capitol dome, museum, films and special exhibits

  • Explore the many galleries, archives and museums for which Washington is famous, including:

    • National Archives - home to the Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, Constitution and many more

    • National Gallery of Art, home to works from Da Vinci, Monet, Rembrandt, von Gogh and more

    • Visit the many museums of the Smithsonian, including the Natural History, Air & Space and National Portrait Galleries

  • Family-style Italian dinner at local favorite Buca di Beppo

Day Three - Alexandria & Arlington (Meals: B)

  • Pay tribute to our nation's true heroes at Arlington National Cemetery

  • Unlimited access to a tram that takes you to JFK's Eternal Flame and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Hear accounts of heroism and personal sacrifice to truly understand why freedom is not free.

  • Tour historic Alexandria where you'll follow in the footsteps of our Founding Fathers along brick-lined streets and elegant Federal homes

    Enhance your vacation with an optional tour of our nation's capitol illuminated for the evening.  $20 per person

     

Day Four - Annapolis, MD (Meals: B, L)

  • Learn about life at the US Naval Academy during a guided tour and visit to the chapel & crypt of Revolutionary War hero John Paul Jones

  • Enjoy lunch at the historic 1748 Reynolds Tavern

  • Tour the oldest state capitol building in the country
