HIGHLIGHTS:

 

Day One - Rocky Mount, North Carolina

  • Travel to Rocky Mount with dinner at Golden Corral and overnight accommodations at the Best Western (MEALS: D)

Day Two - Savannah, Georgia

  • Discover Savannah's unique history dating back to 1733 at the Savannah History Museum

  • Check into the Hampton Inn & Suites, embracing the appeal and elegance associated with the Old South and located in the heart of Savannah's Historic District, your home for the next five nights

  • Dine on historic River St. at the River House this evening (MEALS: B, D)

Day Three - Savannah, Georgia

  • Depart on a guided tour and discover one of America's most intriguing and mysterious cities with our local guide as we see why the city is known as "The Belle of the South" and tour the Owens-Thomas House

  • Relive a bygone era on board a riverboat paddle wheeler as we cruise on the Savannah River and listen as the captain shares tall tales and folk lore about this historic area (MEALS: B)

Day Four - Charleston, SC

  • Journey to nearby Charleston and enjoy a guided tour of America's beautifully preserved architectural & historic treasures

  • Tour magnificent Magnolia Plantation & Gardens founded in 1676 and rich with over 300 years of American history

  • Discover Charleston's City Market with free time for shopping (MEALS: B, L)

Day Five - Jekyll Island & St. Simon's Island, SC

  • Discover why Jekyll and St. Simon's Island are known as the "Golden Isles" of Georgia during a guided tour of these beautiful islands

  • Visit Christ Church and enjoy dining and shopping under the shadow of the St. Simon's Lighthouse - one of our nation's oldest

  • On Jekyll Island, enjoy a guided tram tour to discover why the island was once an exclusive playground for America's industrial barons

  • Enjoy dinner at Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House (Meals: B, D)

Day Six - Hilton Head, SC

  • Discover Hilton Head's antebellum roots on a guided tour of the Island and then explore picturesque Harbor Town

  • Dinner at Paula Dean's Lady &  Sons Restaurant (Meals: B, D)

Day Seven - Rocky Mount, NC

  • Journey to Rocky Mount today with dinner en route at Cracker Barrel and overnight accommodations at the Best Western (Meals: B, D)

Day Eight - Drive Home

  • Bid farewell to your new friends as we arrive home today with
    wonderful memories of the south (Meals: B)

 

 

*All Day Trips require payment within seven (7) days of reservation; Trips lasting two (2) or more days, require a $100 deposit within seven (7) days of reservation and balance due 60 days prior to the trip.
