Day One - Staunton, VA (Meals: D)

  • Discover the beauty of Staunton including original Tiffany windows at historic Trinity Church and the birthplace of Woodrow Wilson

  • Tonight, stay at the Comfort Inn hotel surrounded by the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains with dinner at Cracker Barrel

Day Two - Asheville, NC (Meals: B, D)

  • Nestled between the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains is Asheville, NC, affectionately known as the "Paris of the South"

  • Magical candlelight tour of the Biltmore Estate aglow with the sparkle of twinkling lights illuminating the entire estate

  • Choirs singing European carols and vintage ballroom dancers help to deck the halls.

  • In the Biltmore's Stable Cafe, original to the estate, enjoy a three- course dinner served in their 19th-century dining room

  • Relax "mountain style" in the well-appointed guest rooms of the Brookstone Lodge, a spectacular AAA 3-Diamond hotel, your home for the next two nights

Day Three - Asheville, NC (Meals: B, L, D)

  • Capture the season's magic the Biltmore, decorated with dozens of Christmas trees, ornaments, wreaths and poinsettias

  • Discover original works of art, magnificent 16th-century tapestries, Napoleon's chess set, a 10,000 volume library, 65 fireplaces and priceless antiques

  • Stroll acres of formal and informal gardens designed by Frederick Law Olmsted

  • Lunch at the Estate's Deer Park, a charming, rustic restaurant, once an historic barn

  • Wine tasting at the Biltmore winery

  • Discover Asheville - the "Paris of the South" - on a guided tour of the architecture, history and art of this great city

  • Tonight - a special dinner event at the Fiddlin' Pig with live Bluegrass music while you dine on Carolina Southern Barbecue

Day Four - Charlottesville, VA (Meals: B, D)

  • An intimate look at Monticello, the home of the Thomas Jefferson family, recently named one of the "8 Places Every American Should See"

  • Catch a glimpse into Jefferson's unique mind through his extensive collection of books, art and furnishings

  • Follow in the footsteps of Thomas Jefferson, America's first wine connoisseur. Meet a local winemaker and enjoy a tasting at Keswick Vineyards. You'll then enjoy a catered dinner inside the winery in the heart of Virginia Wine Country - just steps from where Jefferson planted one of America's first vineyards.

  • Spend the night at the charming Hilton Garden Inn

Day Five - Charlottesville, VA (Meals: B)

  • Visit Ash Lawn-Highland, home of our 5th President James Monroe, as you tour the historic house, museum and 535-acre working farm
